Excellent point. Maybe KBOI would be a good candidate for a DX test next
season! They aren't a powerhouse into SoCal anymore since the advent of KIRN

Did anyone get anything with them off? Or are stations like WSCR commonplace
enough? I'd love to see a KBOI test (with sweeps). I recall that I tried for
but did not hear its last test a couple years ago.

The 900 would appear to be a pirate. There isn't anything licensed there, and
if it had
been, coming back after 30 years would seem far-fetched.

I'm doubting an image. Those are cause most frequently by strong signal
overload, which would
mean a local signal. If it were a transmitter problem it probably wouldn't get
out that far. But it
could be a pirate relaying it.

Hello All,
Like Dennis has reported, it wasn't one of the better recent sessions for Asian
signals (but who can complain, when going against the odds in April at a
mediocre location like this?). The overall results were similar to Dennis'
dreary report, including the collective swoon of the

It's been said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again
and expecting a different result each time. Well, much to my surprise,
today's TP DX was almost exactly the same as yesterday's. I'm not sure
what that says about me or the hobby, but after weeks of wildly varying

A bit of a boost before 1200UT, today, and a definite enhancement
1315 to after 1330UT. Here, there was a bit more of the unexpected,
not IDable unfortunately, but I suspect a bit of an attempt for the
