And the best that can be managed on the west
coast is a weak carrier on 1215 at 0425UT. Not
that unusual this month. But, extremely unusual
in practically any other month preceding, since
the last solar minimum, so perhaps things are looking up.

Propagation is not quite as good tonight as the past few. However, 252 Algeria
is being heard with poor strength at 0555. Also, there is a barely audible
trace of 198 BBC. No other TA signals observed.

Thanks for the update Richard.
In Victoria, the best we've managed by 0420UT is carriers on 855 and
1215, with SAHs, so a pair of carriers on each. Possibly that will
be the peak strength; we'll have to see.
best wishes,
Nick

Nick:
Nothing here on 1215. Had indications of a signal on 855 (RNE?) during the
evening. Only 171, 198 and 252 were heard however.
Never had much luck hearing 1215 in recent years, only a few words once on a

I was also hearing the same two Middle Eastern LWBC as Richard this
evening around 0055 utc. Usually 171 is better but this time 252 was
better. Lately I've been hearing both almost every evening. Static is
high tonight too.
