It was actually possible to hear HLAZ' Russian program for awhile after
1830UT (10:30am local time) here at Grayland.   Pretty amazing all round;
going to be fun going through the recordings, though unIDs will be
frustrating.   It's already been a disappointment to discover that the
Anhui radio website that was used less than a year ago to help ID good DX
has now disappeared.   No replacement so far.

Sorry, Colin.  Only the NHK2 transmitters sign off at 15:40.  Almost all
other JJ stations are 24/7 with occasional scheduled closures overnight at
times.  1395, 1584 and 1494 are not on that network.   Walt
