[IslamCity] Frightening dreams
Frightening dreams Question: I am a young sister who got married recently to a man with very good character and deen, masha-Allah. Since I have got married, I frequently have very frightening dreams about my husband and others I love. Before marriage I never had frightening dreams as I always make my adhkaar at bedtime. Sometimes I see that there are jinns inside other people and I am trying to fight them by reciting ayatul-Kursi, but they are stopping me from doing so. I cannot sleep at night and wake up several times. One good sister suggested to me that it may be the evil eye brought on by others who are jealous. If that is the case, then please could you guide me as to what I can do about this problem as it is very distressing. May Allah Reward you greatly for your advice. Answer: Praise be to Allaah. Firstly: Undoubtedly the frightening dreams that this sister sees are from the accursed Shaytaan who is trying his hardest to prevent people from following the true religion and keep them away from their Lord Whom they worship, and he wants to cause grief to the believers. But his plots against the pious close friends of Allaah are weak and insignificant, especially against those who fortify themselves with ruqya as prescribed in sharee'ah day and night. Secondly: You should note that the best way in which the Muslim can protect himself against the Shaytaan is to remember Allaah. According to the hadeeth narrated by al-Tirmidhi (2863), Allaah commanded Yahya ibn Zakariyya (peace be upon him) to tell the Children of Israel to do five things, including the following: I command you to remember Allaah, for the likeness of that is that of a man who enemy comes after him, until he comes to a strong fortress where he protects himself from him. Similarly, a person cannot protect himself against the Shaytaan except by remembering Allaah. Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmdihi. If the Muslim fears Allaah in all his affairs, and adheres to that which Allaah has commanded and avoids that which He has forbidden, and he constantly remembers Allaah, praying and fasting and other kinds of worship, and he fortifies himself by reading Qur'aan night and day, out loud and silently, and he regularly recites the wirds and dhikrs prescribed in Islam for the morning and evening, and when eating, drinking, getting dressed and going to sleep, then the Shaytaan will go away from him, blameworthy and defeated, and will have no power to do anything to him. How can it be otherwise when Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): Those who believe, fight in the Cause of Allaah, and those who disbelieve, fight in the cause of Taaghoot (Satan). So fight you against the friends of Shaytaan (Satan); ever feeble indeed is the plot of Shaytaan (Satan) [al-Nisa' 4:76]? The Shaytaan only comes close to those who are far away from their religion and Qur'aan. The Shaytaan may try to divert the righteous from the straight path, in order to ruin their lives and religious commitment and worldly interests. But protection may be sought against him in the manner described above. You can also refer to the books of dhikr such as al-Adhkaar by al-Nawawi; `Aml al-Yawm wa'l-Laylah by al-Nasaa'i; `Aml al-Yawm wa'l-Laylah by Ibn al-Sunni; and other books of dhikr that deal with this topic, or books of Sunan in general. If you do that we hope that your situation will improve and you will find peace of mind, and Allaah will change your situation to a better one. Among the dhikrs with which we advise you to recite regularly are the following: 1 _ Adhkaar for morning and evening. (a) Reciting every evening the words, A'oodhu bi kalimaat Allaah il-taammah min sharri ma khalaqa (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allaah from the evil of that which He has created). It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah said: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said, O Messenger of Allaah, I am suffering because of a scorpion that stung me yesterday. He said, If you had said in the evening, A'oodhu bi kalimaat Allaah il-taammah min sharri ma khalaqa (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allaah from the evil of that which He has created),' it would not have harmed you. Narrated by Muslim. Indeed, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) encouraged us to say that in every place where we stop (when travelling). It was narrated that Khawlah bint Hakeem al-Salamiyyah said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: Whoever makes a stop in some place, then says, `A'oodhu bi kalimaat Allaah il-taammah min sharri ma khalaqa (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allaah from the evil of that which He has created),' nothing will harm him until he moves on from that place. Narrated by Muslim, 2708. (b) It was narrated that `Uthmaan ibn `Affaan (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The
[IslamCity] Battle for Hasba bill will continue: Fazl
Battle for Hasba bill will continue: Fazl From our correspondent 8 August 2005 LAHORE Muttahida Majlise Aml Secretary-General Maulana Fazlur Rehman declared here yesterday the religious alliance would continue its legal battle on Hasba bill and improve the system in NWFP, where the MMA is in power. He said at a news conference that the Hasba bill was in the interest of the province. The Supreme Court had declared various provisions of the bill unconstitutional and asked the NWFP governor to sign it. Under the Constitution, the governor is obliged to assent the bill within 30 days of being referred to him or send it back to the provincial legislature for reconsideration. In case the assembly doesnt change it and send the same to the governor, he has no option but to sign it. Speaking on the Supreme Courts (SC) ruling on the Hasba bill, the MMA secretary general said that the SC judges had not taken oath under the 1973 Constitution and they were serving under the Legal Framework Order. How can they (the judges) declare Hasba unconstitutional? he asked. The Maulana said the MMA wage a movement against the governments plan to launch an operation against religious seminaries. He said the religious seminaries were not involved in militancy or any other objectionable activity. He held the government responsible for the worsening situation in Waziristan. Also, he said it was federal information minister Sheikh Rashid who ran various camps. Ulema, he said, should not be labelled for the activity. He asked the government to explain who was running camps in Mansehra. He said the MMA was an enlightened and progressive party while General Pervez Musharraf is a reactionary and his claims of being enlightened were false. He said if foreigners were a threat to the countrys security, the government should expel all foreigners from Pakistan. There is no justification in expelling foreign students who have come to Pakistan on valid study visas, he added. Maulana Fazl said that madrassas were not promoting extremism, adding that the seminaries were producing true Muslims who loved humanity irrespective of creed or colour. NNI adds: Maulana Fazal ur Rehman warned of launching a movement if the government tried to implement President Musharrafs plan to expel foreign madarassa students. On July 29th, President Pervez Musharraf said 1,400 foreign students at madrassas, must leave the country even if they have formal visas. We will launch movement if the decision was not withdrawn, Maulana Fazal ur Rehman told a news conference here. He described the decision as contrary to national interests. He said the MMA will hold protest rallies against President Musharrafs decision. He also condemned campaign against religious seminaries under the pretext of curbing extremism. President Musharraf said he took the decision, the latest in a series of measures in his clampdown, because he did not want the madrassas "misused for extremism". The schools have been in the spotlight after one of the London bombers was reported to have studied at one. Fazal criticised Lahore High Court decision to bar from local elections those candidates who have degrees from religious schools.__Do You Yahoo!?Tired of spam? Yahoo! [IslamCity] deep rooted hatred teaching in fundamental christianity - Australian Court Orders Apology for Muslims
This is an example of deep-rooted hatred teaching in fundamental christianity. This is the teaching that is being spreading in western europe resulting in various racial clashed and mosques being burned, creating a whole new wave of christian fundamentalist. http://www.islamonline.net/English/News/2005-06/22/article02.shtml Australian Court Orders Apology for Muslims Nalliah said he would go to jail and not apologize for his anti-Muslim remarks. (Courtesy The Sunday Times) MELBOURNE, June 22, 2005 (IslamOnline.net News Agencies) An Australian court on Wednesday, June 22, ordered two pastors to apologize for anti-Muslim remarks. Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) found Danny Nalliah and Daniel Scot of the Evangelical Order Catch the Fire Ministry guilty of vilifying Muslims made during a seminar in March 2002, reported The Australian daily. VCAT deputy president Michael Higgins said the two breached the Racial and Religious Tolerance Act by giving the remarks in speech, comments on a Web site and in a newsletter. They had described Muslims as liars and demons, accused them of planning to take over Australia and claimed that Islam was inherently a violent religion. The Religious and Racial Tolerance Act says a person must not incite hatred against, serious contempt for or revulsion or severe ridicule of another person or group on the basis of religious belief or activity. Judge Higgins ordered the two pastors to publish an apology on the Catch the Fire Web site, in its newsletter and in two metropolitan newspapers. Muslim organizations in Australia estimate the number of Muslims in the country at 350,000. Welcomed The ruling was welcomed by Australian Muslims, said The Sunday Times. "We're satisfied with the remedies," said Waleed Aly, a member of the Islamic Council of Victoria (ICV) executive committee. The ICV had lodged a complaint with the VCAT accusing the two pastors of violating the Racial and Religious Tolerance Act. "We only ever asked for modest remedies. We never sought any monetary compensation," Ali said. "We just hope commonsense prevails now and we can move on." The ICV is the umbrella organization of Islamic societies in Victoria and their sole representative body to Australian government and Australian community at large. It is a member of the Australian Federation of Islamic Council (AFIC), the umbrella organization of all Islamic councils in Australia. "No Apology" Adamant Nalliah described himself as a martyr for free speech, stressing he would go to jail before apologizing to the Australian Muslims, The Australian said. "We will go to prison for standing for the truth and not sacrifice our freedom and freedom to speak." Nalliah faces up to three months in jail and a fine of up to $7000 if he defied the VCAT order, which he vowed to challenge in the Victorian Supreme Court. The pastor also opened his salvoes at Victoria's vilification laws. "Right from the inception, we have said that this law is a foul law, this law is not a law which brings unity," he said. [IslamCity] Two German States Reject Hijab Ban
Christian fundamentalist will try every angle to discredit muslims. http://www.islam-online.net/English/News/2005-03/24/article07.shtml Two German States Reject Hijab Ban A library photo of a hijab-clad teacher in a German school. By Ahmed Al-Matboli, IOL Staff BERLIN, March 24, 2005 (IslamOnline.net) The legislatures in two German states have turned down proposals by the opposition Christian Democratic Party to ban Muslim school teachers from wearing hijab. The parliament of Nordrhein-Westfalen, western Germany, rejected the partys request as having no legal merit. The Christian Democratic party claimed that hijab places woman at a lower status and was a political symbol not entrenched in the Muslims holy book, the Noble Quran. Thomas Kufen, the partys immigration affairs officer, alleged that disputes could emerge in schools over the issue of hijab and that a legislation was needed. The party, yet, said nuns should be exempted for any ban on religious dress codes. The Socialist and the Green parties, the ruling coalition, as well as the Free Democratic Party had opposed the proposals. They particularly took issue at the Christian Democratic Partys attempt to exempt nuns wear from the ban as a violation of the constitution which demands equal treatment for citizens irrespective of their religious affiliations. Islam sees hijab as an obligatory code of dress, not a religious symbol displaying ones affiliations unlike the symbolic Christian crucifixes or Jewish Kappas. Hindering Integration The parliament of the south-western state of Reinland-Pfalz also turned down a proposal by Christian Democratic Party leader Christoph Bohr to ban hijab. The Socialist, Green and Free Democratic parties have voted against the motion, accusing the party of religious discrimination. Doris Ahnen, the education minister of Reinland-Pfalz, condemned the ban request, saying it would obstruct the integration of Muslim women into society. The education affairs official in the Green Party, Nils Fichmann, also opened fire on the Christian Democratic Party, whose leaders had described hijab-clad women as enemies of the constitution. The Green party is the only political party that rejects the hijab ban in principle. Sylvia Lohrmann, the leader of the partys parliamentary bloc, stressed that the issue should not even be open to discussion. The Free Democrats, however, rejected the hijab ban because it should have also include the head gear of nuns in order to avoid any discrimination. Germany's highest tribunal, the constitutional court, ruled in 2003 that Baden-Wuerttemberg was wrong to forbid a Muslim teacher from wearing hijab in the classroom. But it said Germany's 16 regional states could issue new legislations to ban it if they believe hijab would influence children. The states of Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt and Thuringen still allow teachers to wear hijab. In addition to Baden-Wuerttemberg, the states of Saarland and Niedersachsen ban teachers from showing any religious or political affiliation, including hijab. Another state, Hessen, made amendments to its school laws, banning teachers from wearing any symbols of religious or political nature while allowing them a limited right to put on Christian or western symbols. In Bavaria, laws were enforced in 2004 banning teachers from wearing religious symbols that are not harmonious with Christian cultural values. The state of Brandenburg made the same amendments in 2003. For Now IOLs Correspondent cautions that the parliaments rejection of the hijab ban proposal might only be temporary and the controversy could surface again. Nordrhein-Westfalens Education Minister Ute Schafer, of the Socialist Party, told parliament members on March 17 that the number of hijab-clad teachers was very few and the issue should not be raised at present. Dorothee Danner, a Socialist lawmaker, said her colleagues remain divided on the broader issue of hijab in schools. Some of the partys MPs support a ban on hijab, while others believe the issue should not be addressed now. Danner, however, expected the issue to be raised again in the coming legislative session. [IslamCity] AUDIT: US$9 BILLION UNACCOUNTED FOR IN IRAQ
From: Assalamu Aleikum AUDIT: US$9 BILLION UNACCOUNTED FOR IN IRAQ Audit: $9 Billion Unaccounted for in IraqAssociated Press 01.30.2005http://www.forbes.com/business/manufacturing/feeds/ap/2005/01/30/ap1791607.htmlThe U.S. occupation authority in Iraq was unable tokeep track of nearly $9 billion it transferred togovernment ministries, which lacked financialcontrols, security, communications and adequate staff,an inspector general has found. The U.S. officials relied on Iraqi audit agencies toaccount for the funds but those offices were not evenfunctioning when the funds were transferred betweenOctober 2003 and June 2004, according to an audit by aspecial U.S. inspector general. The findings were released Sunday by Stuart Bowen Jr.,special inspector general for Iraq reconstruction.Bowen issued several reports on the CoalitionProvisional Authority (CPA), the U.S. occupationgovernment that ruled Iraq from June 2003 to June2004. The official who led the CPA, L. Paul Bremer III,submitted a blistering, written reply to the findings, saying the report had "many misconceptions andinaccuracies," and lacked professional judgment. Bremer complained the report "assumes thatWestern-style budgeting and accounting procedurescould be immediately and fully implemented in themidst of a war." The inspector general said the occupying agencydisbursed $8.8 billion to Iraqi ministries "withoutassurance the moneys were properly accounted for." U.S. officials, the report said, "did not establish orimplement sufficient managerial, financial andcontractural controls." There was no way to verifythat the money was used for its intended purposes offinancing humanitarian needs, economic reconstruction, repair of facilities, disarmament and civiladministration. Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman said Sunday theauthority was hamstrung by "extraordinary conditions"under which it worked throughout its mission. "We simply disagree with the audit's conclusion thatthe CPA provided less than adequate controls," Whitmansaid. Turning over the money "was in keeping with the CPA'sresponsibility to transfer these funds andadministrative responsibilities to the Iraqiministries as an essential part of restoring Iraqigovernance." The inspector general cited an International MonetaryFund assessment in October, 2003 on the poor state ofIraqi government offices. The assessment foundministries suffered from staff shortages, poorsecurity, disruptions in communications, damage andlooting of government buildings, and lack of financialpolicies. Some of the transferred funds may have paid "ghost"employees, the inspector general found. CPA staff learned that 8,206 guards were on thepayroll at one ministry, but only 602 could beaccounted for, the report said. At another ministry,U.S. officials found 1,417 guards on the payroll butcould only confirm 642. When staff members of the U.S. occupation governmentrecommended that payrolls be verified before salarypayments, CPA financial officials "stated the CPAwould rather overpay salaries than risk not payingemployees and inciting violence," the inspectorgeneral said. Bremer attacked many of the specific findings. Amonghis rebuttal points: _With more than a million Iraqi families depending ongovernment salaries, there would have been anincreased security threat if civil servants had notbeen paid until modern pay records were developed. _U.S. policy was to build up the Iraqi force guardinggovernment facilities, and it was better to accept animperfect payroll system than "to stop paying armedyoung men" providing security. _The report was suggesting the CPA "should have placedhundreds of CPA auditors" in Iraqi ministries, contrary to United States and United Nations policy ofgiving Iraqi ministers responsibility for theirbudgets. _The CPA established a program review board, anindependent judiciary and inspector generals in eachagency to fight corruption. The inspector general's report rejected Bremer'scriticism. It concluded that despite the war, "Webelieve the CPA management of Iraq's national budgetprocess and oversight of Iraqi funds was burdened bysevere inefficiencies and poor management."On the Net: Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction: http://www.iraqreconstructionig.org/- http://www.forbes.com/business/manufacturing/feeds/ap/2005/01/30/ap1791607.html *** {Invite (mankind, O Muhammad ) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur'an) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Supported by more than 50 demonstrators who chanted, "W. killed her son!" Cindy Sheehan told reporters: "I want to ask the president, 'Why did you kill my son? What did my son die for?'" Sheehan, 48, didn't get to see Bush, but did talk about 45 minutes with national security adviser Steve Hadley and deputy White House chief of staff Joe Hagin, who went out to hear her concerns. Appreciative of their attention, yet undaunted, Sheehan said she planned to continue her roadside vigil, except for a few breaks, until she gets to talk to Bush. Her son, Casey, 24, was killed in Sadr City, Iraq, on April 4, 2004. He was an Army specialist, a Humvee mechanic. "They (the advisers) said we are in Iraq because they believed Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, that the world's a better place with Saddam gone and that we're making the world a safer place with what we're doing over there," Sheehan said in a telephone interview after the meeting. "They were very respectful. They were nice men. I told them Iraq was not a threat to the United States and that now people are dead for nothing. I told them I wouldn't leave until I talked to George Bush. She said Hagin told her, "I want to assure you that he (Bush) really does care." "And I said if he does care, why doesn't he come out and talk to me." Sheehan arrived in Crawford aboard a bus painted red, white and blue and emblazoned with the words, "Impeachment Tour." Sheehan, from Vacaville, Calif., had been attending a Veterans for Peace convention in Dallas. The bus, trailed by about 20 cars of protesters and reporters, drove at about 15 mph toward Bush's ranch. After several miles, they parked the vehicles and began to march, in stifling heat, farther down the narrow country road. Flanked by miles of pasture, Sheehan spoke with reporters while clutching two photographs, one of her son in uniform, and the other, a baby picture, when he was seven months old. She said she decided to come to Crawford a few days ago after Bush said that fallen U.S. troops had died for a noble cause and that the mission must be completed. "I want to ask the president, `Why did you kill my son? What did my son die for?" she said, her voice cracking with emotion. "Last week, you said my son died for a noble cause' and I want to ask him what that noble cause is?" White House spokesman Trent Duffy said response that Bush also wants the troops to return home safely. "Many of the hundreds of families the president has met with know their loved one died for a noble cause and that the best way to honor their sacrifice is to complete the mission," Duffy said. "It is a message the president has heard time and again from those he has met with and comforted. Like all

[IslamCity] Fighting to Preserve Women's Rights in FREED Iraq
Fighting to Preserve Women's Rights in Iraq By Alissa J. Rubin and Asmaa Waguih Special to The Times Sun Aug 7, 7:55 AM ET http://news.yahoo.com/s/latimests/20050807/ts_latimes/fightingtopreservewomensrightsiniraq (Comments in RED are Mine) BAGHDAD The yellowing photo shows a woman in a knee-length, sleeveless dress. Her short hair blows in the breeze. She wears glamorous dark glasses against the summer glare. The time is the early 1960s. She could be in John F. Kennedy's America, but she's in Iraq, at a time when it was ruled by one in a string of military strongmen. Today, few Iraqi women would dare to wear such an outfit. Most cover their arms to the wrist. Only wisps of hair stray from their head scarves. Skirts are often nearly ankle-length. Jinan Mubarak looked down at the photograph and shook her head. "I can't wear what my mother was wearing at that time. It's really sad," she said. "Women had better conditions then. Now, they are challenged every day." Like many women's rights activists in Iraq, Mubarak has plunged into the fight of her life to ensure that the new Iraqi Constitution, due to be completed by Aug. 15, at least preserves the rights women now have. It is far from clear that she and her sisters will succeed. Shiite Islamic parties in the country, with the tacit acceptance of millions of devout women, are pushing hard to substitute Islamic law, or Sharia, for the civil law that now governs such areas of life as marriage, divorce, child custody and inheritance. A draft of the constitution published Saturday in the newspaper of the Supreme Council for Islamic Revolution in Iraq, one of the two leading Shiite parties, calls for men and women to be equal "in accordance with provisions of Islamic Sharia." Legal scholars as well as women's rights activists see that provision as a way to substitute clerics for secular judges and religious rules for civil law. Although most fights over the constitution divide Iraqis along sectarian and ethnic lines, the question of women's rights reveals one more major fault line in the country's politics. "There is a conflict between secularism and religion in drafting the new constitution," said Najla Ubeidi, a lawyer and a member of the Iraqi Women's League, one of the oldest women's groups in the country. Ubeidi, like many others, sees the constitution as a struggle for Iraq's soul, a test of whether it will become a forward-looking society that uses the talents of all of its citizens or one that shuts out more than half of its population. "During the 1960s, there was a real belief in improving women's conditions," Ubeidi said. "We could wear what we liked, go out when we liked, return home when we liked, and people would judge us by the way we behaved." The Iraqi government's treatment of women improved sharply in 1959 with the passage of its "personal status" law, which melded principles of Sharia with Western legal approaches to family issues. When the Baath Party and later Saddam Hussein came to power, they left the law intact, and despite the atrocities of his regime, Hussein backed strong roles for women in government and embraced a secular state. By the 1990s, Hussein had begun to reduce women's roles and rely more on religious rhetoric, but women still retained their civil rights. A Religious Tide Since the U.S. invasion nearly 2 1/2 years ago, Iraq has become far more overtly religious. Although Iraq was long one of the most secular Middle Eastern countries, the toppling of Hussein unleashed a tide of religious feeling, particularly in the Shiite community, which Hussein had brutally suppressed. In some conservative areas, women have been attacked for failing to wear the long black abaya and complete head covering that are standard dress among religious Muslim women here. Although few women would sanction such attacks, many do accept the primacy of religious law over secular law. Iraqi women's views on Sharia are complex and diverse, with many educated, religious Shiite women supporting Sharia first. If women work in Islamic organizations or are involved in politics through Islamic parties, their loyalty is first to Islamic politics, long suppressed by Hussein, and then to women. Even women's rights activists acknowledge that the vast majority of Iraqi women, especially those living outside Baghdad, know little about the constitutional debate. If asked, the activists say, those women would probably have few objections to the substitution of Sharia for civil law. Especially in the Shiite-dominated south, women have tended to look to their faith, their clerics and their tribes for support and protection in the face of Hussein's cruelties and the loss of their men during the Iran-Iraq war of the 1980s. For them, Sharia offered certainty in an uncertain time. "I much prefer the Sharia for personal issues," said Salama Khafaji, a member of the new National Assembly. "I am very afraid of language saying men and women are equal: What would that
[IslamCity] Zionised American Terrorism
Zionised American Terrorism The Neo-cons or Israelites inspired and conspired invasion of Iraq is based on false and engineered reasons and grounds. They are inconsistent with the Case Law, Statute Law, democracy, human rights or any other cherished values known to mankind. Naturally the UN Secretary General, President of the Amnesty International etc. etc. identified the invasion as an act of TERRORISM like millions of authorities around the world. The Terrorism in Iraq was carried out against the wish and interest of the American people therefore a prosecution in the Public Court is a must. Source: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/freeamericanow/message/23630 Zionised UN Assisted Genocide In Iraq Zionised and combat coward Americans organised 11 years long holocaust in Iraq first. Three successive United Nations Assistant Secretary Generals who were responsible for Iraq then resigned in protest of Anglo-Saxon genocide in Iraq through the UN Security Council. Yet, the resilient Iraqis kept their head high and demonstrated their opposition against Zionism. They bombed women and children. They destroyed their nature and environment by using many prohibited weapons including the Depleted Uranium. These zionised criminals went on to destroy Iraqi civil society, museums, bureaucracy, police, army and all other infrastructures. Iraqi academics and academia became the systematic target of Mossad under the direct patronage of USA. Source: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/freeamericanow/message/23628 Zionism vs Nazism The Zionism is worse than Nazism as one was the product of a few mad people during a difficult period of time comparing Zionism - which is the product of millions of Israelis and their supporters stretching across half a century with a stamp of infinity! The Nazism is based on German nationalism and Zionism is based on Jewish nationalism. The Nazism subscribes on racial purity and supremacy. The Zionism subscribes on religious purity and supremacy and eventually ends up with racial supremacy and purity like Nazism! The Zionists are milking the Holocaust Cow while conducting war crimes, massacres and genocides in the longest running concentration of the universe located in the occupied Palestine with a stamp of infinity! Source: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/freeamericanow/message/23629 Stop The Blame Game Self-harm, suicide, etc. are neither confined within the boundaries of any particular sex, race, religion nor teachings of any of the above groups. Yet, we have been putting up with the evil of suicide To be precise and specific, Australia is a fairly affluent society. We do have many research, analysis, support mechanisms and early warning systems to combat this disease. Yet, far too many young peoples are committing suicide in many ways. Sadly, a bad number of older peoples are murdering their own children, partners and then themselves. Who should be blamed for these tragedies? Drinking water system, religion, social justice, political parties or educational system? In light of the London Suicide attacks and Mossad inspired Lakamba bookshop incident - it is fair and proper to say, let's try to understand these problems so that we can genuinely make a few attempts to address them rather than pointing finger at each other. However, Murdochian media and Sydney's hate machine radio 2GB have been inciting against Aboriginals, migrants, Arabs and Muslims for a long time. They have been doing so without any right of reply and based on not true, untrue or even false premises. Their incitements and vilifications appear to be deliberate and calculated to cause injury to a target group of their selection. Therefore it should be pointed out that: Historically, Jews used to launch suicide terrorist attacks against the Romans. The second Muslim Caliph Omar was the victim of non- Muslim suicide terrorist attackers. Modern day terrorism was introduced in the Middle East by the Jews and since then Israeli / Zionist terrorism appearing and affecting in many places in many formats. Surely, sometime their victims are hitting back and getting reported in a magnifying scale. Attack of those kinds got nothing to do with religion and they may have a lot to do with politics or any other underlying causes. Ironically, most of the effective and deadly suicide terrorist attacks were committed by the non-religious groups or secular groups like the Tamil Tigers. Etc.! One President and a Prime Minister are in their victims list. Certainly, they were not Hindu, Muslim or Christian groups. Therefore a fair and proper analysis of the above subject is a must rather than deliberate Muslim bashings. Because, people will find out the real truth and those leaders who are pretending to lead us without listening to us, and they will be exposed along with their `plan' to protect us by locking us up inside. [IslamCity] Death of Khadija and Abu Talib (wife and uncle respectively)
Assalam alaikum, Those of his neighbors who mistreated the Prophet in his house were Abu Lahab, al-Hakam ibn Abu al-As, Uqba ibn Abu Muayt, Adiy ibn Hamra al-Thafqafi and Ibnul Asda al Hudhali. Not one of them became a Muslim except al-Hakam. I have been told that one of them used to throw a sheep's uterus at him while he was praying; and one of them used to throw into his cooking-pot when it had been placed ready for him. Thus the apostle was forced to retire to a wall when he would pray. Umar ibn Abdullah ibn Urwa told me on the authority of his father that when they threw this objectionable thing at him the apostle took it out on a stick, and standing at the door of his house, he would say, `O Banu Abdu Manaf, what sort of protection is this?' Then he would throw it into the street. Khadija and Abu Talib died in the same year, and with Khadija's death troubles followed fast on each other's heels, for she had been a faithful support to him in Islam, and he used to tell her of his troubles. With the death of Abu Talib he lost a strength and stay in his personal life and a defense and protection against his tribe. Abu Talib died some three years before he migrated to Medina, and it was then that the Quraysh began to treat him in an offensive way which they would not have dared to follow in his uncle's lifetime. A young lout actually threw dust on his head. Hisham on the authority of his father Urwa told me that when this happened, the apostle went into his house with the dust still on his head and one of his daughters got up to wash it away, weeping as she did. `Don't weep, my little girl' he said, `for God will protect your father'. Meanwhile he was saying, `The Quraysh never treated me like this when Abu Talib was alive'. When Abu Talib fell ill and the Quraysh learned of his grave condition they reminded one another that now Hamza and Umar had accepted Islam and Muhammad's reputation was known among all of the Quraysh clans, they had better go to Abu Talib and come to some compromise lest they be robbed of their authority altogether. Al-Abbas ibn Abdullah from one of his family from Ibn Abbas told me that Utba and Shayba, sons of Rabia, and Abu Jahl and Umayya ibn Khalaf and Abu Sufyan with sundry other notables went to Abu Talib and said: `You know your rank with us and not that you are at the point of death we are deeply concerned on your account. You know the trouble exists between us and your nephew, so call him and let us make an agreement that he will eave us alone and we will leave him alone, let him have his religion and we will have ours'. When he came Abu Talib said, `Nephew (i.e. Muhamamd), these notables have come to you that they may give you something and to take something from you'. He answered, `Yes, you may give me one word by which you can rule the Arabs and subject the Persians to you'. To this Abu Jahl said, `I can give you 10 words'. So Muhammad said, `You must say there is no god but Allah and you must repudiate what you worship besides him'. They (Abu Jahl and others) clapped their hands and said, `Do you want to make all the gods into one God, Muhammad? That would be an extraordinary thing'. They then said to each other, `This fellow is not going to give you anything you want, so go and continue with the religion of your fathers until God judge between us'. So they left. Abu Talib said, `Nephew, I don't think that you asked them for anything extraordinary'. On hearing this the apostle had hopes that he would accept Islam, and he said at once, `You say it uncle, and then I shall be able to intercede for you on the day of judgment'. Seeing the apostle's eagerness he replied, `Were it not that I fear that you and your father's sons would be abused after my death and that Quraysh would think that I have only said t in fear of death, I would say it. I should only say it to give you pleasure'. As his death was near, al-Abbas looked at him as he was moving his lips and put his ear close to him and said, `Nephew, by God, my brother (i.e. Abu Talib) has spoken the word you gave him to say (i.e. said there is only 1 God). The apostle replied, `I did not hear it'. God revealed concerning the people who came to him with their proposals: Saad. Nay, those who disbelieve are in false pride and opposition. How many a generations We have destroyed before them, and they cried out when there was no longer time for escape! And they (Arab pagans) wonder that a warner (Prophet Muhammad) has come to them from among themselves! And the disbelievers say: This (Prophet Muhammad) is a sorcerer, a liar. Has he made the âliha (gods) (all) into One Ilâh (God - Allâh). Verily, this is a curious thing! We have not heard (the like) of this among the people of these later days. This is nothing but an invention! [Quran 38: verses 1-7] [Ref: Ibn Ishaq, The Life of Muhammad, pp 191-2] May Allah Almighty have mercy and guide us all, ameen. fi amanillah, assalam alaikum, f
[IslamCity] Sheikh Ahmad Deedat Dies at 87
Sheikh Ahmad Deedat Dies at 87 Deedat was considered by many as more a scholar of the Bible than the Qur'an. CAIRO, August 8, 2005 (IslamOnline.net) Famed Muslim preacher and debater Sheikh Ahmed Deedat died Monday, August 8, at 87, leaving behind a legacy of propagating Islam and defending it against missionaries. Founder of the Islamic Propagation Center International (IPCI) in Durban, South Africa, Deedat distributed more than twenty million copies of his books and audio tapes free of charge for the purpose of da`wah. In South Africa where he lived, hundreds of people have entered Islam Including a large number of missionaries. He delivered lectures all over the world and successfully engaged Christian Evangelists in public debates. One of his most famous debates was Was Christ Crucified? when he impressively debated Bishop Josh McDowell in Durban in 1981. Famous books by Deedat included "The Choice - Between Islam and Christianity; "Is the Bible Gods Word?"; "Al Quran the Miracle of Miracles" ; "What the Bible says about Muhammad (PBUH)?"; and "Crucifixion or Cruci-Fiction?" Deedat, who was born in 1918 in the Indian district of Surat, has been bedridden since 1996 when he suffered a serious stroke. Excellent Debater In 1986, Sheikh Deedat was awarded the King Faisal International Prize for Service of Islam. Sheikh Deedat did not have much formal schooling, but he was self-taught through experience and had a penchant for reading, debating, discussion, and a profound sense of commitment to a mission and goal, according to his Web site. He was driven and goal oriented. He was focused and never let up until the job was done. He was sharp, perceptive, forthright, fiery, and daring in his challenge of those whom he debated particularly against those who equal his missionary zeal and sense of audacity, the Web site added. "Formal schooling did not destroy his creative prowess, his tenacity, ambition, drive, and sheer daring to swim upstream." Sheikh Deedat was considered by many as more a scholar of the Bible than the Qur'an and was more familiar and adroit with its teachings. He had an insight and perspective of the Bible which made many Christians he came into contact with rethink and re-examine their faith, particularly those aspects of the Bible and the Qur'an that deal with the divine mission and life of Prophet Jesus, the Web site says. In 1986, the King Faisal Foundation awarded the King Faisal International Prize for Service of Islam to Deedat. He shared the prize with prominent French Muslim intellectual and philosopher Roger Garaudy. When he suffered a stroke, he lost his speech, his most potent gift that he used so effectively in his debates to propagate Islam. He delivered his last lecture in Sydney, Australia, in 1996 just before his chronic illness. The lecture was considered to be one of his most passionate talks. Muslims Mourn Late Sheikh Deedat http://www.islamonline.net/English/News/2005-08/08/article03.shtml Deedat was a self-educated caller to Islam. By Fatima Asmal, IOL Correspondent DURBAN, South Africa, August 8, 2005 (IslamOnline.net) - Hundreds of people are expected to attend the funeral of South African caller to Islam Sheikh Ahmed Deedat, who passed away in the early hours Monday, August 8. Sheikh Deedat, 87, passed away at his home in Trevennen Road, Verulam in the province of KwaZulu Natal at 7 a.m. His son Yusuf told IOL that the cause of his death was heart failure. The family was not in a state of shock, said Yusuf. As Muslims we believe that every soul shall taste death. He added that the last moments of his fathers life were peaceful, and coincided with the commencement of a recitation of "Surah Yaseen" on an Islamic radio station. Channel Islam had just introduced and begun to play Surah Yaseen when the throes of death began, he explained. My father just looked at us and then passed away. Funeral Sheikh Deedat will be buried in the Verulam cemetery after Salaatul-Maghrib (Maghreb prayers) Monday. Hundreds of people from around the country are expected to participate in his funeral prayer, and his family says that people from across the world, such as India, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have been calling to convey their condolences. His death comes as a shock to us, Maulana Ahmed Kathrada, of the Jamiatul Ulama (Scholars' Group), a local theological body, told IOL. He added that Sheikh Deedat had served not only South Africans, but the Muslim Ummah at large, for many years. We pray that Allah Grants him a lofty position in Jannah (Paradise), and that He Grants his family patience, especially his wife who has endured so much during the last few years. Dedicated Wife He was bed-ridden for almost a decade. Mrs Hawa Deedat, who had spent the last nine years nursing her husband and administering his daily injections, was present at her husbands side at the time of his death, and she is well, said

The antichrist George Bush has explained that the reason he sends thousands of ghetto kids to their deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan is to defend the freedom of Americans. Such as the courageous Americans boldly defending America (oops, The Homeland) in the chickenhawk trenches of American universities as seen in the following photo essay: Remember their faces, for some years from now when they seek high office - appointed or elected - they will humbly deny the great service they have performed on the homefront for America while others merely sweated in 130 degree temperatures. http://www.truthcaucus.com/index.php?id=73 Yahoo! And out of kindness, lower to them the wing of humility, and say: My Lord! bestow on them Thy Mercy even as they cherished me in childhood' "(Quran 17:23-24). 4. salam alaikum. A truly sad news for those of us who grew up watching Deedat's debates and speeches against Missionaries. He was speaking for Islam, when there was hardly anyone else doing it. He was an enlighted person, when there was total stagnation among Musilms. May Allah give him the best of the hereafter. Maqsud www.islamicminds.tk Sheikh Ahmad Deedat Dies at 87 Deedat was considered by many as more a scholar of the Bible than the Qur'an. Excellent Debater Sheikh Deedat did not have much formal schooling, but he was self-taught through experience and had a penchant for reading, debating, discussion, and a profound sense of commitment to a mission and goal, according to his Web site. __Do You Yahoo!?Tired of spam? Yahoo!
