By Hasan Kamal Multiple bomb blasts in India, serial bomb blast in Mumbai local trains as well as in Samjhauta Express; all have been routinely branded by the authorities as terrorist activities. However, Urdu Media in India expressed its suspicion openly that Israel's Intelligence Agency, Mossad was responsible for those acts or was responsible for organizing these blasts. Urdu Media reasoned that the special style of bomb blasts was similar to the typical of Mossad covert activities; especially as in recent past Mossad was responsible for such destruction activities in many countries. It is therefore highly strange that neither any other language Media supported nor contradicted the suspicion of Urdu Media. All kept mum and feigning ignorance. ( Is this some conspiracy of silence? VM.MN) It is rather impossible that Non-Urdu Media did not get the news of our Urdu Media's suspicion as it was the subject of much discussion in many Urdu Newspapers. Now, it seems that the suspicion of Urdu Media is not based merely on speculation and nor it is directly related to the fact that Urdu Media will always side with Palestine in any conflict situation between Palestine and Israel. Or that Urdu Media is overall always against the existence of Israel. The new sensational revelations show that this accusation carries clear that Indian government sought Israel's help earlier in some matters and this is an open secret that help for any destructive activity comes through Mossad. in the same manner as American government gets help for such destructive activities through CIA a news in December 05, 2007 in Times Of India is the basis of involvement of Mossad in India with frightening details. According to this news two American journalists book reveals a sensational item. Edrin Levy and Catherine Scot Clark's book Deception talks about different American government's connivance about Pakistan's Atomic programme but the writers have researched that India's Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was in favour of destroying Pakistan's Atomic Plant at Kahota in 1983 since it had been established that this Plant was speedily manufacturing Atomic Bomb. According to the book, Indira Gandhi instructed Air Chief Marsha Dilbag Singh to handle this matter personally. This operation was named Operation Strike just like Israel's operation against Iraqi Atomic Plants. Air Marshal Dilbag Singh ordered Jaguar Squadron to start practicing air strikes at low levels with 2000 pound bombs. In 1983 when preparations for attack were in an advanced stage, Indian officers made a secret tour of Israel for getting some armaments from Israel to destroy Kahota Plant. On February 25 1983 Indira Gandhi accused Pakistan for secretly manufacturing Atomic Bomb and just after three days Chief of Indian Nuclear Programme Raja Ramanna declared that India was also trying to seek facility for proliferation of Uranium. Pakistan's Intelligence Agency ISI doubting Indian activity sent a warning to Indian RAW and Raja Ramanna met his counterpart Pakistani Chief Munir Khan at Imperial Hotel where he warned that in case of attack at Kahota it will be retaliated with an attack on Indian Atomic Plant of Trombay which will render a large number of people in Mumbai to suffer from Atomic radiation. India cancelled this operation after this meeting but Israel intervened by claiming that it will complete this operation on its own, if permitted to use Jamnagar air force Base. Indira Gandhi feared that involvement of Israel will bring in total Atomic war between India, Pakistan and Israel. Therefore, she totally abandoned her attack plans. This book further claims that American CIA secretly informed General Ziaul-Haque about it; so that sequence of reaction should change the situation. In Pakistani Media the creator of Pakistani Atom Bomb Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan put forward tall claims about Pakistan's capacity. Consequent to this, India and Israel retreated from the scene. NATIONALISM According to Muhammad Asad (Leopold Weis): Nationalism in all its forms and disguises runs counter to the fundamental Islamic principles of the equality of all men and must, therefore, be emphatically ruled out as a possible basis of Muslim unity. According to Quran and Sunnah, that unity must be of an ideological nature, transcending all considerations of race and origin: a brotherhood of people bound together by nothing but their consciousness of a common faith and a common moral outlook. In the teachings of Islam it is such a community of ideals alone that can provide a justifiable basis for all human groupment ; whereas on the other hand, the placing of the real or imaginary interests of ones nation or country above moral considerations has been condemned by the Prophet in the sharpest terms: He is not of us who proclaims the cause of tribal partisanship and he is not of us who dies in the cause of tribal partisanship (Abu Daud on theauthority of Jubayr ibn Mutim). When he was asked by one of his Companionsto explain the meaning of tribal partisanship (asabiyah), which so obviouslyplaces a person outside the pale of Islam, the Prophet replied. [It means] your helping your own people in an unjust cause. (ibid on the authority of Wathilah ibn al-Asqa).On another occasion he made it clear that love of ones own people as such cannot be described as tribal partisanship unless it leads to doing wrong to other groups. (Ahmad ibn Hanbal on the authority of Ubadah ibn Kathir). On the other hand, The Apostle of God said: Help your brother, be he a wrongdoer or wronged. Thereupon a man exclaimed: O Apostle of God, I may help him if he is wronged; but how could I [be expected to] help a wrongdoer? The Prophet answered: You must prevent him from doing wrong: that will be your help to him. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim on the authority of Anas) Thus the prevention of injustice and the establishment of justice on earth are the ultimate objectives of the social message of Islam: You are the best community that has been sent forth to mankind [in that] you enjoin right and forbid wrong and have faith in God. (Quran 3:110) It is on this enjoining of right and forbidding of wrong that the ethical value of the Muslim community and of Muslim brotherhood depend; it is with this ideal of justice---justice toward Muslims and non-Muslims alikethat the concept of an Islamic state (which is but the political instrument of that ideal) stands and falls. To make the law of Islam the laws of the land in order that equity may prevail; to arrange social and economic relations in such a way that every individual shall live in freedom and dignity, and shall find as few obstacles as possible and as much encouragement as possible in the development of his personality; to enable all Muslim men and women to realize the ethical goals of Islam not only in their beliefs but also in the practical sphere of their lives; to ensure to all non-Muslim citizens complete physical security as well as complete freedom of religion, of culture, and social development; to defend the country against attack from without and disruption from within; and to propagate the teachings of Islam to the world at large: it is in these principles, and in these alone, that the concept of an Islamic state finds its meaning and justification. If it realizes them, the state can rightly be described as Gods vice-gerent on earth ---at least in that part of the earth which falls under its factual jurisdiction. Contentment
The more positive the thoughts flowing through my mind, the more contented I
will feel. It is easy to feel contented when we are praised and appreciated but
to remain contented when we are being critised and rejected is the mark of real
spiritual strength. The way to develop this level of strength is to learn about
God's way of loving. Only when I am in deep contemplation can I see God showing
me the kind of love I need to express so that I myself never reject or critise
and always generate good wishes for others. Then I will feel satisfied no

This investment, from one of the world's leading and most sophisticated equity investors, provides further capital to allow Citigroup to pursue attractive opportunities to grow its business, said Win Bischoff, Citigroup 's acting chief executive officer. *The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) has agreed not to own more than a 4.9% stake, and will have no special rights of ownership and no role in the management or governance of the bank, Citigroup said. * *Worst affected * Citigroup is one of the financial companies that have been worst affected by a crisis in global credit markets, which stemmed from a meltdown in the USsub-prime mortgage market. The sub-prime sector lends money to people on low incomes or with poor credit ratings, and has suffered record defaults as a result of successive interest rate rises. *Banks had been heavily issuing these loans over the past few years when interest rates in many of the world**'**s main economies were at historic lows. But the current higher borrowing costs and increased loan defaults have brought this lending to a sudden halt, and banks have been left with billions of dollars of debt that has lost most of its value. * Citigroup's boss Charles Prince was forced to quit his post shortly after the bank revealed a 57% drop in profits during its third quarter because of massive write-downs. The company's share price dropped below $30 in New Yorkon Monday, almost half the value of their 12-month peak of $57 set on 28 December last year. *Gulf saviour* *ADIA will buy securities in Citigroup, which will offer an annual yield of 11%. The bonds will eventually be converted into shares between March 2010 to September 2011, at a price of between $31.83 and $37.24 each. This suggests **Abu Dhabi** is enthusiastic about the bank**'**s long-term future prospects, expecting the share price to climb back to its previous heights, analysts said. * ADIA's managing director Sheikh Ahmed Bin Zayed Al Nahayan said: This investment reflects our confidence in Citigroup's potential to build shareholder value. *Abu Dhabi**'**s move is the latest example of the financial muscle of the oil-rich **Gulf states**, which have benefited enormously from booming energy prices and are now looking for new homes for their wealth. The 2,500-acre township will be called New **Kabul**. * For a country which lost 33% of its homes during a quarter of a century of war, housing millions of local and returnee Afghans from the refugee camps of Pakistan and Iran is one of the biggest challenges facing the government in Kabul. New Kabul is an ambitious experiment in mortgaging homes - the first time ever in Afghanistan - in a country where an annual $380 per capita income makes it virtually impossible for most people to afford homes. Banks will buy these homes from the government and then mortgage them to buyers who, officials reckon, will have to pay $100 to $150 every month for 16 years before becoming owners. The government is pumping in some $200m for these homes, and hopes the country's 14-odd banks will be enthusiastic in picking them up, and offering them to buyers.
