well there was some progress - but in the other direction, now it is even
worse!

The only way to enter notes is to go to "view - notes" but there you have no
preview of the slide itself - you have to have the slides in the left pane.

so let's put an editable Notes-Area just below the slide editing screen!

come on, it's 2016!

I have cleared the obsolete Assigned To entry.  I've also raised the Severity,
since this is clearly an usability issue.

Although not essential, please update the "Latest Confirmation in" version
identifier.  

Now, none of this housekeeping means that there is a capable and interested
developer for taking on provision of this feature, as worthy as it is.  We will
have to see.
