Date time is wrong after uploading to gmail

I'm testing out mbsync to backup and restore my gmail. The only major glitch I've ran into so far is that when I restore my email (i.e. push it up to gmail) the date/time display in gmail's summary view is set to the date and time I used mbsync to perform the push. However in gmail's individual m
