the tuner kernel modules from the vendor (Mandriva) supplied kernel
package, which didn't support the tuners I have on the PVR500. Once I
replaced that kernel module with the one that comes with ivtv, it worked.

I have a 500MCE that I'm trying to get to work. I've been trying the
various suggestions posted in other threads on 500MCE static without any
