[jabberd2] presence subscription for offline users

Hi all, I'm running rev 2.1.17 of jabberd2, and just discovered that when a user A tries to subscribe to an offline user B, when user B later comes online, they do not receive the presence type="subscribe". Is this something in my particular installation? Can anyone confirm that this shou

I compiled 2.1.3 myself and have been playing with a sqlite backend. I have everything work as far as I can tell. I can create an account with pidgin just fine, but when I try and login I get an "authentication failure" message. I'm sure I'm typing the password correctly (duh), because I see in
