There's a non-optimized all java version that runs under linux available from sun. However, it lacks support for many of the audio and video formats available for the other platforms. It ran somewhat on linux the other day when I tried it (not very extensively). The .mov sample file played the

Hi, I just joined the list this morning and have already seen lots of good info !! I am trying to bring up Java on a Slackware 2.0.33 system without X. My eventual goal is to install the JSDK (Java Servlet Dev. Kit) and mod_jserv to work with Apache. I have Apache installed and configured.
