From what I understand there is no JIT or Hotspot in Blackdown, correct?
What's the status of this exactly? Can we expect to see one soon?
I haven't had much problem with Blackdown, but it is a bit too slow
without a JIT.

I'm using SuSe 7.3 on a Sparc Netra T1 machine. I have a Java
application that uses JDBC and JavaMail. The process sends thousands of

I guess that this was asked before but.. Is there any hope to see
a JDK more recent than 1.3.0 for SparcLinux? I'm specifically looking for
1.3.1 (or mmore recent, I guess).. I am just a java user but I have some
apps which require 1.3.1 and don't run on 1.3.0 (I'm using
