As my subject line says is that question I would like to ask. Can the
JDPA work with Blackdown or does it require us to port it to Linux?? Is
the JPDA 100% java or does it require some native calls that need to be
rewritten for linux??

I dowloaded and setup my machine to use JDK1.2pre-v2(by switching
from a 16bp to 32bp) and from screen resolution(1280x1024 to
1024x768..:() so that I can try out swing to see if it works. Well,
here are my observations:
1)Seems 1.2 runs faster than 1.1
2)Did run out of memory(I know

I would like to add that I am running glibc 2.1 Netscape 4.6 using
Caldera Distroy and your applet was running fine actually.

Swing 1.1.1(Offical) has been released but it says that it requires
JDK 1.1.8 and I was wondering if that means its hard coded to work with
1.1.8 or can it still work with this port of 1.1.7???

Swing 1.1 built with it. What I am asking is this, since the bug
