Just discovered to my horror that the configure script in OpenOffice
relies on passing '-version' to javac to check that it is the right
software to use with it. This problem seen on both intel and sparc
platforms (1.3.1 and 1.3.0 respectively).
Any plans to sort this out? Doing 'javac -
