Not all Linux distros name that font the same. In the file
/jre/lib/font.properties, change all occurrence

do you get a whole list of these errors? if so the solution could be to
replace the font.properties file in ~jdk/jre/lib/ with the one at
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/font.properties
