Hello!
All my objects that I create tend to be very angular and not so smooth that
I would like. Please just take a look at the example code below that are
ready to be lounched.
Especialy the spheres, they tend to be very full of edges.
Is it possible to set any flag to indicate a smoother
If you really want a good sphere, you should try to create it with more
polygons...
new Sphere(float radius,
int primflags,
int divisions)
Where you increase divisions up to your wishes...

I'm looking to the simplest way to switch antialiasing on
for a whole SimpleUniverse view. I do not understand how
to catch the right object to apply setSceneAntialiasing(true).
I think that in addition I have to go through the scene and
enable the bitmask of objects to be antialiased ?
Thanks in
Thank you very much Andre,
I was already aware of the problem for the DirectX version.
However, I will try what this guy experimented: force the
graphic card to antialiase everything.
Kind regards,
Pascal

This is the complete download - JDK, Java3D, JOGL, and quite a number of
other libraries. There is a min version somewhere which is just the Xj3D
code and is about 5MB. We figured for the initial

It contains Java 1.4.2, Java3D 1.3.1, JOGL, Aviatrix3D and Xj3D.
Someday I'll optimize for size, but currently I optimize for least
number of support issues, ie assume they have nothing installed

Do you have a Linux installer ?

We typically make a tar file of the jars but I haven't yet. Let me get
past this RC and I'll roll one for the next one in about a week.
What is the most common installer for Linux these days, rpms still?
I have worked with Java3D both professionally and as a hobbiest for
about four years now, and am wondering if there are any companies out
there that may be looking for someone with my skillset. I am currently
job hunting and sent my resume to many graphics companies, but have yet
to come across
