Hi, all: Is it possible to send an e mail to my IE favorites list? I
should have sent the entire web page but only wanted part of it so copied
and pasted into an e mail. I guess I could make a favorites e mail folder
but that's too easy. Any ideas? Marilyn
Do you have to e-mail it? I'm not sure about what you are trying to
accomplish. Could you just do a save as and save the page in some place
other then in your favorites? What about copying what you want to a MS-Word
document?

Annette

I think I invented a task that can't be done so I must have a kink in my
thinking somewhere. I'll just creat an e mail folder and sned it there.
It's a basketball team's winter schedule so I want instant access. Thanks
all. Marilyn

Hi, everyone: my desktop has about 60 items on it so how do I cut items
without having them disappear forever? It seems that there is a lot of
stuff that is already on my start menu but I don't want to zap anything
major. Thanks. marilyn
I had that problem with Jaws back on version 4.51. I was told to go to the
folders through the control panel and on the view page make sure that show
files/folders is not on.
I don't claim this will work but it's that way still on this computer and
I'm using jaws 7.10 just a thought..

Hi, Marilyn -
Well, Hailley's statement isn't 100% correct. If you have downloaded
programs on your desktop, when you press the DEL key, you'll actually delete
the entire program, not simply an icon, so you need to be careful. What I do
is perhaps a bit more techie, but it's really the only
Did you reboot your system after you removed the program? Also, how did you
remove it--I hope you used the Add and Remove Programs item in the Control
Panel or the program's own uninstaller because if you just deleted the
program's folder, that not only doesn't work, but it can leave your
I think I went into the programs and into I daily diary submenu and it had a
choice to remove it and I press that.
Did I mess up!

No, that's the way it should be done. Did you restart your computer after
removing it? If so, I haven't a solitary clue as to why it would continue to
show up.

YOu migh talso want to try reinstalling the program and then uninstalling it
to see if that helps.
Patti -
Okay, that _sounds_ like the uninstall routine didn't do a clean job.
What
happens if you press ENTER on it in the System Tray; that is,
highlight it
in your System Tray and then
That's a good thought.

No go. I turned it off like you said and it is still not reading the on and
off states.

There's one more thing that I can think of to try here. When you're
in the
IE properties settings dialog, open the Configuration Manager. The
configuration file should be named System
Hi all.
I received my JAWS 8 CD today and installed my Real Speak voices. I
couldn't find anything in the JAWS help about how to use these voices or how
to activate them. Any help will be appreciated.

This is truly bizarre. Well, all I can tell you for sure is that the
uninstall routine didn't work at all if the program comes up when you click
on it from the System Tray. I'm entirely out of ideas except to suggest that
you try using the Add and Remove Software selection from the
I looked in the add and remove but it ain't there.
I'll tried to download the program again and go through to ctrl panel to
remove it.
Thanks for your help. Do you have any hair left? smiles

The following is from the What's New in JAWS 8.0
Take this off-list folks
it has nothing to do with using Jaws!
