Patty, I'd first see if there's any updates, Yahoo and others love doing
that, and I'd also try jaws nine in beta, to see if it works better for you.
Then if you have an upgrade go for it, if not, you can choose whether or not
you want to buy it. Hope that helps somewhat.

I found out that Yahoo 8 doesn't work to well with Jaws 8.
When I type a message it takes Jaws about 2 minutes to read it, and when
someone sends a message it takes the same time for Jaws to read it.
That is why I went back to Yahoo 7.5, but now I can't get jaws to read my
contact list. This
Patty that's on the bar with outlook express. it just decdes to read
messages in descending, then a moth or two later, ascending order with
absolutely no reason as to why. Sorry I can'thep your problem much, I'd
maybe try jaws nine as I suggested and see what that does. Talk soon.

Scott, try updating your video drivers anyway. Even though there's no
apparent conflict, there could be a bug in the drivers that has been fixed
in a newer update. Hope that helps.

1. Update server can be slow.
2. You can only perform an automatic scan daily.
3. You can't receive technical support.
4. You can't create custom schedules, however you can edit the two
predefined ones.
Hope that helps.

I continue to be frustrated by Jaws 8.0 (plus updates) and the Jaws 9 Beta's

primarily a problem for html e-mails in table format. Jaws reads the table
row and column numbers but not the text; sometimes it will read the
