Rick, thanks for this, but I'm still having a problem. I'm finding it very difficult to work out exactly what the string I need to copy from the audio properties in control panel is. I can't virtualised the window, it says there's no text, and the jaws cursor is finding nothing. Anybody got any

Hi Alex, I have found the following: Jaws will automatically take the last soundcard installed, and it will go to that card when it loads as a service. However, if you unload, and reload Jaws without specific parameters it comes back and runs as an application, on the soundcard of your choice.
