JAWS Just says beginner. Pressing space once results in Application Start

Good Morning,
I've never been able to make convenient OCR work. When I hit Insert-Space,
O, S, or any other option, JAWS pauses a few seconds and then says JAWS.
Nothing else happens. On this machine I'm running public beta 3.
I've always had an Internet connection when I installed JAWS

Are you saying that after pressing Insert + Space, followed by o, JAWS
does not speak OCR? Then when you hit w, s, or c, it does not
announce Started, then after a second or two, announce Finished?

It sounds like the OmniPage OCR portion did not get installed properly.
There is a separate download and installer for this. Download it, run
the installer , and hope it fixes your problem.

Convenient OCR only seems to speak started and finished if the User
Verbosity mode is set to beginner or intermediate. When verbosity is set to

You're forgetting to tell it what to scan. For instance, after you hit o and
it comes up, hit w to tell it you want to scan the window.
