Cool. I just wandered since no one really seems to care to really get eloquence
to sing like people use to with Dektalk.

yup. confirmed. it's broken. just tried it here. and they had just
patched it. this is one of the reasons i've felt that research it is not
as good as fs clames. now we have to wait untill an update comes out to
address this issue. still, i commend freedomscientific for their hard
work on jaws
Hi
You can have a voice profile for Realspeak Solo Direct and another for SAPI5
installed in the same JAWS. When you want to change between the two, press
JASkey+control+S for the Select a voice profile dialog and choose the one
you want. To change the active voice in each profile, go to JAWS,
hi geovanni:
the interesting thing this time is that in past when the research it sports
scores were broken, all of them were broken.
this time only the NHL is broken.
all the other sports categories available work just fine.
as I said, very interesting.

It seem as both items are broke. Sure miss the stock research.

There are others on this list who know a lot more than I do about the
workings of JAWS, but I am pretty sure that Research It, does, in fact, go
out to individual web sites and scrapes the data off and presents it to
you in a more friendly format. That is why it is hard to maintain,

Dan,
You are right. For when the stock research stopped working, I asked where
they were getting the info and it is off the nasdaq site. Bet you won't find
a sport score on that site.

JFW13 stock quotes is still broken. Doesn't matter which company's stock
abbreviation u put in it only spits out the Dow and Nasdaq total value.

JAWS 13 has fixed the problem I had with Outlook Express saying no links when
opening a secondary OE account. What a nice surprise not to have to close down
OE and reopen before it would read.

Hi Steward.
Do you have set up your Jaws, so it is running from the system tray, and not
is available as a separate window?
This should give the ability to switch between the desktop and other active
window's, using alt+tab.

Hi Steward.
Press insert+j to get your Jaws window into focus.
Press the alt key, and arrow down once to Basic's, and press enter.
Tab to the checkboks where jaws say's Run Jaws from System tray and check
this, and tab to ok and press enter.
You must restart Jaws, before this setting work's.
Stuart, I think you might be happier if you try using Jaws 12 with your
windows 7. I use Jaws 12 and have now started running jaws 13 which also
works very well with windows 7.
That said, it has been a while since I used Jaws 11, and so it may also work
well with windows 7. Just think that
