Hello, to get jaws to read punctuations you need to go to the jaws settings sinter by pressing jaws key plus the number 6 then press control plus shift plus d at the same time then go down to punctuations and press the right arrow to open it there are two things in there the first is customize .

Hi Gene, See if the steps below will work for what you need: To scan as an image, do the following: 1. While in open book, press alt, and right arrow to acquire. 2. Down arrow to work flow, & right arrow. 3. Down arrow to image only, & press enter. 4. Press your Scan keystroke, F4 or spacebar.

If I type a Yahoo email address, or a gmail address or even a edu address, all I get is yahoo com, edu, org, but it doesn't pronounce the (dot) portion of the email or web address. This can easily throw someone off, because if you're dealing with lots of email addresses, it can be hard for someone

I am also using latest of Jaws 18 and I have this document I received from my Natural Gas repair company. Down-loaded to my printer, signed the document. Now need to take a picture of the document with my Open book and Cannon scanner. I did this a while ago taking a picture of my personal check sh
