No. JAWS 2018, as others have said, is a completely different version from
JAWS 18. You need to install JAWS 2018 from your DVD
JAWS 2018 is not considered an update to JAWS 18. It's starts all over, and you
need to install it separately from JAWS 18. You can do this with the 2018 disc
or by updating from the VFO website. If you install from the CD, you'll need to
update the way you do with JAWS 18, except you'll use the
JAWS 18 is the major version behind JAWS 2018. You will need to pay
for, or use your SMA to upgrade just as you did from 17 or whatever
previous version you used to 18. To see your build number, go to the
JAWS window and press DOWN ARROW. You will be able to see if there is
a new build of 18 avail

I found this to be quite interesting and helpful. The Amazon web site
detects if you are using jaws, probably other screen readers as well. Anyway
