relevant. I am running windows 7 and jaws 16.
I am currently using winamp as my music program. But, since its no longer
supported Im thinking of using something else. I have VLC on my computer,
and it works fairly well,
First, put your start marker at the beginning of the file,
by pressing ctrl+home, then press the left bracket ([) key.
Next press alt+e to bring up the edit menu, then arrow down to insert
silence.
Press enter, and you are good to go.

Whew! I bet that makes you feel a lot better.
Not sure about windows 10--I'm still using seven here--my guess would be
that you don't have to have a password, nor a microsoft account, though you
probably do need a user name.
