I have also have had a problem with Kindle for PC using Windows 10.
According to the Amazon web site when this occurred a few months back I

While JAWS convenient OCR can read pages I haven't had any luck with it
reading entire documents of this nature. To have the document I need to use
Kurzweil to read it. Generally you would need to use something like Kurzweil

I don't know about tutorials specifically for Windows 7 as I bypassed
Windows 7 but I've used it with Windows 8.1 and 10. Jaws works fine with it
and although it is similar to the original Outlook Express it is a a bit
quirky mainly due to some things they left out of the actual program.

these programs have some serious qaccessibility issues. For example, much of
the body of emails sent with Constant Contact are displayed as an image that
is not read by JAWS or other screen readers. I don't know if anyone has
raised these issues with the developers but it is very problematic
earlier versions of Jaws home will not work on a professional system.

Did Avast get their accessibility issues corrected because for a while it
wasn't accessible by screen reader users?

The AVG Secure Search is a toolbar that can be removed. Depending on your
operating system it should be shwon in your programs as a separate program
or in your toolbars that you can disable or remove. You don't need it.
