Last time I tried to renew mine they told me I had upgrades remaining and
that I didn't need to upgrade.

When I got mine renewed. I had to pay for a version released and SMA
witch came to $400.

I personally do not know the answer to your question. However, I purchased
about a month ago an upgrade from Jaws 10 to Jaws 11 and bought two SMA's
along with it. They charged me 200.00 for Jaws 11 and then a hundred dollars
for each SMA. These are professional versions
It does sound as though it was the price with the two additional SMA's that
the person heard on the Podcast.
