My friend installed Kurtsweil on her XP, Jaws7 PC and at startup Kurtsweil
launches. How can she undo to start up when she boots up her desktop?

Under settings, then configuration, turn off automatic startup by
hitting the space bar to disable.

while kurzweil is open, go to settings, select 'configuration' from
dropp down menue, in this dialogue box press tab several times unless
you listen, 'the kurzweil will run automatically when u start your
computer', press down arrow, it will say disabled. Press enter, then
again come to setting

It is one of the options one checks or unchecks during installation.
Let her uninstall and reinstall Kurzweil, checking the relevant option.
