Karen, My mother who is sighted just purchased an HP-laser from Staples for less than $200 and It seems to do a really nice job. This is a true laser printer not an ink-jet so you won't need to worry about ink inconsistency or clogged nozzles. The installation disk is JFW accessible. I checked it
