I use hybernate most of the time, as that's what happens when I close the
lid of my Windows XP laptop. It's just nice to close the lid, let it go to
sleep, then later open the lid and boom, it powers up again, without
pressing a key.

Hey all. Well for starters, jaws after returning from standby on a del Windows
xp home computer with two gigs of ram, will say Preparing to standby. It
happens if you use the command in outlook express to read how many messages you
have, and also occurs on Internet Explorer seven when going

We have verified the issues of failing to read certain things such as
system tray list of items when going into and out of standby/hibernate.
This is being addressed now. For the time being, you will have to shut
down and restart, rather than hibernate please

I always thought we shouldn't use stand by or hibernate with Jaws.
