[JAWS-Users] need help with a problem caused when I had hired a technician here who knows nothing about Jaws:

He went to install a virus program: avg and left me in a list box, now I cannot get to the start menu by pressing windows key. Computer is set to do virus run from 10-4 a. m. So I'm just stuck in this list box cannot get to the internet listed on start menu. Have tried arrows, tabs enter

What list box are you in? What does it say exactly, or can you tell? Sometimes JAWS needs a fresh view of the screen so if you hold down insert and hit escape, JAWS should say screen refreshed, or screen updated. There might be something going on that JAWS needs a refreshed screen to see. AVG
