The update to JAWS 14 coming out in the next few weeks will have a change that
lets you adjust this message off or on.

My first thought is to create a simple script that just passes those
keys through JAWS. This can get ugly since Freedom Scientific has
scripts for iTunes and some people use additional scripts like
BlindTunes from http://BlindTunes.net
Just adding a simple, one line script can become a
wow, never realised this was an issue others suffered from. I just assumed
it was my older computer playing up.

there is an update to JAVA. However, I cannot get JFW to put the cursor on
the update button. As I do not have access to sighted help, is there a way

As default Windows is set up to only show this messages as pop up's, but in
the controlpanel under taskbar and menuen start, you can find the button
Message area, adjust... which is on the taskbar tab.
Here you can change the behaviour of different element's, if accissable, and

I just tried to do this and couldn't. The only thing I saw in their screen
readers section was stuff for sale. Can you be more specific about your
suggestion? I use their update flash player all the time but someone gave me
the specfic link for that and it always works.

If you read the README.txt that is in the group of files when you unpack
the zip file it will have a URL for where to go to find the installation
instructions.Actually, it sends you to a page, you should search on
access, then click on that link. I've done that and here is the link
