oh, yes. one of the programmers has developed the jaws scripts for yahoo
messenger. would be happy to share the same with you! in fact, may I
request david to put these scripts on the jaws users page. they have
promised to to develop these scripts further along the lines of the new
versions.
If it's me then yes I do use XP in a different environment and yes JAWS
does work well with it. The environment I use is VMware and it is more
responsive than the XP Mode provided by Microsoft. The good news is that
if XP Mode is already installed you can import the virtual machine into
VMware

Read some thing on this on google. They suggest one does a chkdsk and see if
there are any errors on the hard drive. They than say to run chkdsk /f/r.
This will run the fix and repair of the disk.

Something to check.
Make sure you are running the latest build of JAWS 10. In your JAWS 10
software, do a check for updates to see if an update is available. If
so, check it, then let it download and install.
