There sure is. It's called Jarte, and it is fully compatible with JAWS. It has a built-in spell checker and the ability to create and save templates, among other features. And its menus are straightforward and easy to navigate. I prefer it over MS Word 2007. Check it out:

If you're talking Yahoo Mail, it is probably as accessible and bothersome as a web-based email account is. You can pay extra for Yahoo Pop so you can integrate it into your email program. But, before I paid them $20 a year, I'd just move everything over to Gmail or some oother service.
