Well it happened to me a week ago and nothing had changed on my computer,
angers me to have to use an activation code when I did nothing, did not
install new software, hardware, did not do one thing that should have
prompted it, happened to me about four times in 13, this last was 14. Never

Trust me, it seldom works on my end, reboot usually gives me the same
40-minute mode.

I started to have this trouble last year with a fairly new Toshiba. It was

Hello list
I suffer from the same problem whenever I dare to change any
hardware on my win7 PC or laptop. For examble, I connected a
second hard drive and immediately jaws was in demo mode. I
also added a second sound card and I was in jaws demo mode.
It never happens with Windows XP.

Hello list,
So it looks like the IE 10 preview is out for Windows 7 users. Has anyone
tried it out with Jaws be it 14 or an earlier version and if so, is it at

I found the page and there are items listed. I see with magic, that there
are check boxes for the ones you want. But Jaws isn't indicating them so I
can't check them. Then, toward the bottom, there's a button for downloading
a silent installer, but that didn't work. I actually thought I'd checked
that is real strange. I just downloaded the new flash player update and ran
it. I can download that java for you and send you off list a link you can
get it from my drop box if you like?

whoa! a computer just from my download, maybe I should grab it too,lol
Is that just like a folder maybe named window's 7?
Press enter on it see if it opens like a folder does, if so, maybe you could
cut it from the downloads folder and stick it in your list of other folder's
with your name.
if it's any help to you Mariam, I am running windows 7 as well, and have not
installed java or had any need to.
Isn't that stuff in IE in that add on area? I just disable all that junk.

When I downloaded it, it went into the downloads folder. I opened it and ran
it. I looked to see if it were anywhere, else where I could find it, but I
couldn't. I didn't see it in the programs or in the list of things under the
search box. So I don't know that it was saved in another area.
You may not have to install java, but it's entirely possible that it's been
installed without you knowing. Web browsers and things like that use it.

well you can just remove it from there and let it be it's own folder or put
it in another folder. I have done that in movies, music, stuff I download
after it's unzipped is in it's on tidy folder, you can move it to where you
want or just leave it there in downloads.
The installer is a one time
I sure wouldn't doubt that
