Hi Judy Tallie,
to select roughly half the files in a folder:
1. select a file roughly half way down the list of files.
2. press shift + home. This selects all the files from the originally selected
file to the first file. (alternatively use shift + end to select all the files

This should not affect most of you, but I wanted to let you know that I am

since it is no longer being supported.
Just by removing the older versions of IE that I had up there dropped my
server usage over 100 MB. I just

David,
You may not want to do that since there's been a release of a hack that

While Microsoft is not denouncing this hack as being against their terms of

This tweak to the registry, which allows XP users to continue receiving
security updates until 2019, while technically not illegal, is strongly
discouraged by Microsoft because they claim that it might cause some

Hi Friends,
I installed WordPerfect 15 on the Win8.1 couple days ago and I faced a
strange problem. Namely, Jaws15 doesn't recognize the WP workspace at
all and doesn't speek anything nor send anything to the Braille display.
But jaws normal works with menus and dialogue boxes or comboboxes
Its great for portability, but it is inherently slow and clunky if you use
it mainly in a home setting.

I found out the hard way doing such things to the registry can result in
unexpected and often highly annoying consequences.
This is why I stopped doing the windows mail hack some years ago for other
people. Try installing service pack 1 after that and you'll see what fun you

Hi Ed,
I haven't done a lot with it yet, but so far so good.
Keep in mind, just like the Windows Mail tweak for Windows 7,it is not
supported by Microsoft,
and therefore will have no security updates specifically for it.
Again, use at your own risk.
