Hi All,
I have tried several things to upgrade a version of IE on a friends laptop to
IE 9. They have a Windows 7 Home 32 bit system. Does anyone have a direct
download link where I can download IE 9 from the internet? Currently running
IE 8. I have checked windows update several times and
Steve,
Here is the link to the Microsoft Download Center, where you can download
the different versions of Internet Explorer:

Once on the web page, perform a search for Internet Explorer 9 or whatever
version you want, and the results will

corruptions were found and automatically quit the scanner, so if corruptions
a found I do not know if the window with that notification will stay up.

No, you can be doing something while the scan runs, but you might limit it
to just one or two programs open at one time. Depending on how much memory
(RAM) your computer has, you should be OK running at least one program while
the scan runs at the same time.

OK. I called jaws and yes they will not allow to go from 15 to 17. I find
this to be not good. Be like having to get window 8 to get to 10 if you have
window seven. I have window seven and I am not interested in jaws 16 or wan
to waist a upgrade.

Hi,
It makes no difference (so far as getting the upgrade is concerned), whether
you have JAWS active on your computer or not, so long as you in the past had
purchased JAWS. Also, and precise details of this ought to be verified
officially or by recourse to the pertinent or relevant links on
Yes, I do not know when this utility was introduced into Windows, but it is
included in Windows 7, 8, and 8.1. Probably XP and Vista as well.

I have been using JAWS since Version 8, and an upgrade to the professional
version has always cost me $200 if I upgraded from one version to the next,
or if I upgraded through three versions. Then the cost of the SMA has always
been another $200 on top of that, if I chose to purchase it as

have reported that it did so. If it had found corruptions that it could not

I forgot to mention that up until the recent FS switch regarding standard and
professional JFW versions, I've always run the Pro version which probably
accounts to the higher cost I experienced.
