Hi Carolyn, Control Page Down will go to the next page, if there is a next
page.

Since my little test document, only was 1 page, this command went back to
the top. It surprised me as well.

Hi Jim, That is what I thought also, but it is not working on my test
document.

Shouldn't a blank line, in a document indicate that the next line is the
first line of the new paragraph? I even tried indenting it, to see if that
was what was needed to get Jaws to recognize that a new paragraph was there.
This also did not work.

Very puzzling.

Neil,
I just verified in my Windows 7, Word 2013, and JAWS 16 and indeed your
description is right on the money.
The trick is to adjust your fonts on the Delivery address while in Word
and the same for your return address the first time before copying into the
windows/labels window.
I just verified that you will land before the first letter of the first word
in the first sentence in both windows and you can highlight the text using
normal movements and delete and replace with something else if you wish.

Hello Gang:

I can print an envelope perfectly. However, I have a slight problem.

I cannot get JAWS to read the delivery address or return address, in the
printing process.

Here is what I do and what I hear:

1. Have a word document with the address.

2. Get the cursor in the middle of the address.

3. Alt plus the letter M. I hear: upper ribbon mailings tab

4. Strike the letter E, for envelope. I hear: Delivery Address edit.
However, it does not read out loud the address. Nor can I arrow up or down
and hear anything.

Tab to the return address. I hear: Return address edit. It does not read
out loud the return address nor can I arrow through it.

Tab to the print button, and strike the space bar. The envelope prints
precisely.

So, my bottom line question is how do I get JAWS to read the mailing
address and return address? Using JAWS 16.4350 and MS Word 2013.

Thanks. Neil Towery

2015-08-28 Thread Carolyn Arnold
Jim, to my surprise, I tried the old way. This was in a file brought over
from First 2003, then 2010, and now in 2013, and Control Up Arrow and
Control Down Arrow worked. I had wondered about going back. Thanks for your
tip.

Hi Carolyn:
In word you can also press insert+z, turns quick keys on and off, this is a
toggle key.
then you can jump by paragraph, heading and table and so on.

From Carolyn - WOW, THANKS for that tip. I went over, initiated it, and from
paragraph to paragraph I could jump. I would have been quite discouraged
doing what I'm used to doing. What if I want to go to the previous
paragraph, is it Shift P?

Vicky,

If you turn on your navigation keys, insert V, type an N until you hear,
navigation keys, not checked, press your spacebar to check it and then press
enter, you can use the letter p to jump from paragraph to paragraph.

page.

Since my little test document, only was 1 page, this command went back to
the top. It surprised me as well.

Hey gang,

I used to be able to review additional info about a product with JAWS on the
amazon site by going to links and then product details. That link is no
longer available so obviously they have changed it or called it something
else.
Last time I was on the site I found what they called it and went to it for
additional info. Today I can't seem to find or remember. Anyone help out
here?

Best,

Al

Hello Gang:

I have a relatively, new Dell desktop connected to the internet via an

capabilities or not?

Would that information be in the programs or system tray? What signal am I
looking for? Something that would tell me yes or no.

Thanks. Neil

Re: [JAWS-Users] Telling if a desktop has wireless capability

2015-08-28 Thread jim

Yes, how do I share files through one drive.
I have never messed with on line storage and file sharing.
Which folder of one drive do I put the files I wish to share.
Do I just copy the web address of my one drive files, or is there more to it
than that.

any help will be appreciated.
