Kevin,
I
Don't know of a free one, but there is one that is about $100.
It is called Text Cloner Pro. It reads printed material, and allows you to
save it into your word documents. I use it quite often, because I can sort
through most of my mail.

Is there a way to export and then import the contacts in windows live mail?
Under the file tab I only see the option to export messages and accounts.

Kevin,
I don't know of any free scanning software. The closest I can come would be
the KNFB Reader. It is an app which works on your cell phone. However, it
costs about $90 normally.
That's a lot less than Open Book for sure.
I believe that there are versions wich work for Android as well.
It works with jaws and I paid 99.95 plus what ever your state sales tax is
and if an
update comes out in the first year after you purchase it it is free but
after the first year it is 29.95 please go to the web sight and check it
out.
I think there is a free trial version you can download and
