Re: [JAWS-Users] [Bulk] Re: [Bulk] Windows 10 jump list
Basically frequently visited sites/documents. For example, alt windows six because ie is the sixth item on my taskbar, I will see all the sites I have visited today. Hahhaa, I was like, man, was I bored? Relating to documents, it makes it real convenient for those who have a document that they work on daily as they can pin that document to the jumplist and not have to search for it each time, as to say where the heck is that document! Personally, for some reason it doesn't work for me, though. At one point it did but here and there it works but not a hill to die on for me, just wondered why that's all. If memory serves that was introduced in windows 7. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Kurt Miller Sent: Wednesday, February 24, 2016 3:44 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] [Bulk] Re: [Bulk] Windows 10 jump list I have been trying to follow this thread, can someone explain to me what the jump list is. So in short one of us has to review your posting and if it is suitable for the list it is approved and then in a few minutes it gets sent out. This is nothing personal toward anybody at all, it's just how I setup the list. Obviously if we know the person who is subscribing then their email address is placed on normal status rather quickly. If it is somebody we don't know then and there is no hard and fast rule as to how this is done, but after a short period of time the person in question has their posting status changed to normal. This practice has prevented any number of less than desirable postings from making it to your collective inboxes. Oh the three of us see them but you folks are protected. At the present time we have over 660 subscribers on here. We have never hit 700 but we came close a couple of times. I hope this clears up any confusion. Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS with Dropbox
The only way I've been using DB is whit shared folders. I open DB through the programs menu. When DB is launched, it goes to my systems tray. From there I open DB as I said, find the folder I want, copy files into it and close. Try looking for the program through the all programs menu, rather than your possibly broken shortcut. DB seems to be working fine for me using W7 and JAWS 17. Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS with Dropbox
You should have a Dropbox folder on your PC's hard drive. Open your hard drive, then go to users, next select your user name and open it. Now go to your Dropbox folder. You can create folders and copy files into it and they are uploaded to Dropbox. On 2/24/2016 6:23 PM, wayne smith wrote: > I am still not clear about what this means. Sorry, my mistake, I missed the ALT key. Love God! with your heart, mind, and soul, that you might be blessed reaching His goal. Love your Neighbor as you would yourself, God will truly reward you with good health. Love God, your neighbor, as you love yourself, you will then be spiritually balanced with wealth. Love His Word that proceeds from His lips, then reflect on the heavens where God sits. [JAWS-Users] Follow-up- RE: [Bulk] Will Defender automatically turn itself on when anti-virus trial expires?
The answer was 'not in my case'. I had to remove the McAfee which had expired before Defender was available to activate. Surprising- because the McAfee was no longer active :( All is well anyway now :) Cher -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Cher Bosch Sent: Tuesday, February 23, 2016 4:16 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [Bulk] [JAWS-Users] Will Defender automatically turn itself on when anti-virus trial expires? Re: [JAWS-Users] Uninstalling JAWS Windows 10
Hi, Here is how you uninstall JAWS. Press Windows key + X and press enter on programs and features. Press the letter F to get to the Freedom scientific programs, and arrow to JAWS. Press enter, and pick your uninstall option, and follow the instructions. This is how you uninstall any program in Windows 10. The windows key + X brings up an entire menu of very important things like mobility center and on and on. To uninstall programs, you enter on programs and features. Have a great one. -Original Message- From: Shai Sent: Tuesday, February 23, 2016 11:52 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] Uninstalling JAWS Windows10 Hello, How does one remove JAWS on windows10?
