Hi,
Outlook:
Try moving a mail to a folder by pressing control shift V,
Then tab to the new button enter...,
That will create a new folder and name it, and Create the rule later,
Since the wizard ain't wizzing...

Norma,
I create a new folder independently with the shift-control-e shortcut before
setting a message rule. I believe a new folder can be created while setting a
message rule, but I find that dialog difficult enough. Doing the two steps
separately simplifies the procedure.

Hi, thanks for this, but it doesn't allow me to create a new folder to
direct messages to. Unless I am missing something, which is certainly
possible. Guess if I can't get the list boxes to read I'll contact Jaws tech
support. Thanks, Norma

George,
Thanks for the suggestions. I tried them. I finally got Jaws going but
this weird problem keeps happening. I'm glad I have Narrorator. I believe
dear old FS might be hearing from me on this one. So strange!
Thanks again!

Thanks a lot Jim I will try your steps.
Yes, we are having a very bad time. It looks like Brazil is seeing the light
at the end of the tunnel. We seem to be in the middle of it, still.
Kind regards,

I'm using Win 7, JAWS 17 but your process should not be too different.
Hit the Windows key for the start menu and arrow down to all programs
sub menu. Arrow right then type the letter j to see if you have java on
your computer. If so, you'll see the name java with a sub menu. rRight
arrow
Great! Will try that with my friend tomorrow. JAWS Help has nothing on
Thunderbird, and I have not yet found any king of training for screen reader
users or keyboard users with TB on the internet. Can anyone suggest
something?

If the virtual keyboard is anything like what the banks in Brazil use,
you only need to keep javascript up to date and the letters will read as
text for you to select.

In some banks and other business you have to use a virtual keyboard that

Hi David,
I did those commands, a couple weeks ago, with MSA on line,
Because my help could not read the screen.

Hello;
Well I don't think the keystroke you're suggesting is true.
Windows-key+the plus-key starts the magnifier.
Windows-key+up-arrow maximizes and windows-key+down-arrow minimizes,
Or, you could use,
Alt-key+spacebar then the letter x to maximize.
Or alt+spacebar and up arrow to your choice.
