Re: [JAWS-Users] MalWareBytes 1.75 on Programs Page

2017-01-26 Thread Mike B.
Hi Mauricio,

I don't have a clue about the pro versus trial version transformation, but
what I can tell you is that MWB 3.0 can be navigated, but it's not
accessible. I'm one of those people that distinguishes differences between
being accessible, & being able to navigate programs. MWB 2.2 is much more
accessible with Jaws, & I have a tutorial that my sighted wife helped me
write for accessing those damn spin boxes that need to be accessed when
trying to schedule a scan or scheduling updating. Anyways, if you can
possibly get the free version of MWB 2.2 you'll be much better off than
attempting to use MWB 3.0.
Take care.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the feedback. The question I posed is because I assisted someone
else in installing the latest version of Malwarebytes and it simply felt
"different." In doing a bit more research regarding the installation of the
free version, while it used to be possible to opt out of the trial
full-version, it appears this is no longer an option and, if it works as
advertised, the full version will stop after 14 days and will automatically
switch to the free version. My hope is that the transition to the free
version will be seamless. As for accessibility, I'm still trying to figure
that one out.

Thanks,

Mauricio

Lenny,

Sounds like your default directory for the document files has changed? you
are expecting to see the list of documents when you are inside MS-Word,
correct? Check your options to see just where your default file location is

As a start, try entering the filename in the Windows search field. I don't
know which version of Windows you're using, but this should work from Win7

After selecting owner, my documents and my file I made the changes. Saved
the file and tried to open the next document. I do not get the list of
documents. I must go back to desk top, owner, my documents and find the

this several times even restarting the computer with the same results. I
have no idea when this behaviour started. I seldom work on two documents

Hi all,

When I was using JAWS 17, I put the StartupGreeting script in myExtensions
files and it spoke the greeting each time I started JAWS.
Now that I use JAWS 18, I can’t get the myExtensions to work.
I copied myExtensions.jsb, myExtensions.jsd and myExtensions.jss from the JAWS
17 Enu folder to the JAWS 18 Enu folder but I can’t get the greeting to work in
JAWS 18 even though I recompile the JAWS 18 default.jss file.

Anyone know how to get this to work?

Thanks very much,
