Strange.
The tags I mentioned are in the head of the document in the source but
when you inspect the DOM they appear in the body.
I think that something in your script must be moving them.

The dom is the page structure underneath the web page that determins how
it is viewed. It normally mirrors your source code but can be updated by
javascript and other languages.
I dont think you can view it in ie without some form of developer add
in, I use chrome and magnification to inspect
There is a way to read the DOM - Document Object Model, in IE 8.
Pressing F12 opens the current page in the Development Tools window. It
is not 100% accessible and might not make much sense unless you read up
on DOM first.
