Re: [JAWS-Users] Update on O E copy issue with 14.
Rich, As I say, I don't know if this will work, because from what I understand, your select-all doesn't work in Outlook Express. I assume that it works as expected elsewhere. But, I know a couple people who have had that problem where, from what I understand, control-a did not select anything. They had to go to my computer, tools, folder options, and reset all folders. - Original Message - From: Rich Hamel rcha...@bellsouth.net To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Tuesday, April 16, 2013 2:07 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Update on O E copy issue with 14. I've seen other computers where control-a wouldn't work and it was linked to the folder view settings. check under Tools / Folder options / View tab for options on selecting files/folders. Try resetting them to defaults. - Original Message - From: Rich Hamel rcha...@bellsouth.net To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Tuesday, April 16, 2013 9:50 AM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Update on O E copy issue with 14. Hi all, First of all, thanks for all of the tips on my issue in O E and not being able to copy a message after I updated the JAWS 14. I have found that, if I am in a message and hit control A to select then Control C, or even arrow down in the menu bar to copy, I am not able to do this. However, if, instead of hitting the Control A, I arrow in the menu/edit area and click on select all I am then able to arrow in the same menu/edit to copy on to the clipboard. I have uninstalled 14 and then reinstalled from the web site. Re: [JAWS-Users] Update on O E copy issue with 14.
Mine started doing this after updating to the latest update in Jaws. Or it could be the latest security update from Microsoft. Not sure which. But found if I use alt + e and to select and alt + e and c for copy it works.
