[JAWS-Users] jfw12 focus problem
Hi Listers I encounter a focus problem with jfw12. When in i long list, for example files in a directory, and I downarrow then jaws jumps to other items in the list instead of staying on the alphabetic list. I think it might have to do with the screen resolution but if I make that lower jaws behaves better but then sighted people can not see all the items. In display properties it is set to classic theme. I tried the XP theme but that does not solve the problem. Even when I switch the view from list to detail it does not help. I use XP Home. Can someone please help. Re: [JAWS-Users] jfw12 focus problem
I have also been having trouble with this same issue. Using Jaws 12, and Windows XP, but using Internet explorer 8, and Outlook Express 6. I encounter this issue, mainly on WebPages though, and not necessarily in the file explorers. I also seem to have trouble with Outlook Express, again, with the same focus issues, and reading the message directly after the message I just landed on, after deleting the message I was just reading in the preview pane. It gets mighty confusing, as I'll have to do a say line command to get the right message I'm on in the message list pane. Has anyone figured out a fix for this? Thanks. Re: [JAWS-Users] jfw12 focus problem
Hi Scorpio: Yes I have focus problems in OE, using XP (SP3) JAWS12 latest build, also desk top will only stay in focus for about 5 minutes, while no acttivity. I installed version 12 initially from the CD from FS and updated from within the JAWS help menu (update). A member of this list suggested I uninstall JAWS12 and download the JAWS12 with the latest fixes included and reinstall. I reinstalled and do not find it any better. Any help would be appreciated. Re: [JAWS-Users] jfw12 focus problem
I also have the focus issue when I'm on XP. It does not happen very often though. But when I'm on my Windows 7 box JAWS behaves nicely *smile* So, I have not seen this focus issue on Windows 7 yet and I have been running 7 since April 2010. -Original Message- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of RJ Sent: 9. februar 2011 17:16 To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] jfw12 focus problem I found if I turn Jaws off and re start it, it helps.
