The Plantronics headset I used had one plug for the phone and one for the computer. So, you hear the computer in one side and the phone in the other side of the headset. No software. I would be answering calls for a company and relaying information to customers so I'm most likely in need of the split headset as suggested .. I'm still in search of what type of phone software to look for that works well with Jaws .. Thank you for your input .. I just use Skype with a paid for telephone number and a Logitech headset with a boom mic. I don't recall the model headset, but it's pretty basic. Anything with a boom mic will do. Jaws comes through both headphones along with the call. If this is a home use then you can purchase a Plantronics headset that will do the trick (not cheap. No software required. If it is a business use then you have to go with headset & software.
