Hi,
Discussing coding style is sooo much easier than
actually coding...
3 spaces (and no TABs!!!) is fine with me.
As for the revision history within the source file:
Using the CVS $Log$ tag is not a good idea: It was
shortly discussed about half a year ago, and the
idea was abandoned. Often

Hi Marc! I'm also interesting in any work you are doing regarding maintaining a wide

soon make up a project description :-).

I'm pretty sure you're wrong here. BMP in jboss does NOT guarantee SQL
ordering. BMP uses the same interceptors as CMP(look in standardjboss.xml)
and there is no code in these Entity interceptors that differentiate
between
BMP and CMP. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong
I haven't used CMP so I'm not sure what issues there might be making them
play together. With BMP nothing funky happens under the covers.

I've spotted what might be small problem in

What if mi.getTransaction() returns null because you are, for instance,

I know this is doable with CVS

Also, take a look at EntitySynchronizationInterceptor. It will call

Hi,
I am
not expert at all in all these but,...
In
commit-option C, a EntityInstanceCache may exist and then the row removed by an
external system, so you have to read from db to be sure the entity still
exists.
