I an the maintainer of malabar mode and I would be interested in moving the
functionality out of malabar mode into JDEE and unifying the two projects.

This sounds great. In fact I actually borrowed much of your code several years
ago to build out pom.xml/maven code to configure JDEE. This would be a great
addition.

In malabar we use groovysh instead of cider. I am a great fan of Clojure but
groovysh has a couple of advantages.
First, grape. This allows the JVM code to be installed and run without the
