So you can already integrate your changes while we are waiting for an answer of
the original author to see if it is ok to take over the ownership…

The workflow plugin(s) seems like a truly awesome concept btw, It seems to be
able to do almost everything we’ve discussed over the years, except brew my
coffee while I wait for the build finish, but I guess I could write a plugin
for that ;)

After researching more in this list, I remarked that I am not the only one
having problems.
Updating the pom.xml to allow mvn-release-plugin:2.5 did not help.
After burning version 0.3 and 0.3.1 I was able to push using
mvn org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-release-plugin:2.5:prepare
