Maybe you can have a look at a maven reporter of one of the static analysis
plug-ins (findbugs, checkstyle, …). The code to publish the results should be
quite similar...

It looks like the daemon that picks up ticket references in commit messages
have stopped working around mid-Nov due to the format change in the
notification email.
I fixed that and reprocessed the backlog.
