Incorrect markup may be the cause of your issues: 1. IDs should be unique, you have many repeated IDs. CSS works alright, but JS will certainly be confused 2. you can't have a div (block element) inside an a (inline element) 3. you have to close your link / tags Or let her hire a developer! ;)
