my 2cents 1) @Edgar: I have not heard about problems with your plugin. The only lack is its userfriendlyness. But projections are thought for expert users, and not for day to day gis users. 2) I had a go with the newer geotools code (Edgar uses older libs) about a year a go but stuck with

hei Ede, A textfile containing WKT-String for common proj/cs would be helpful.. can somebody provide these? the newer geotool libs use a EPSG (wkt?) library which contains a lot of projections: (uuh.. i just saw that they changed the website since last year)
